Gregory Ange
February 26, 1946 – April 8, 2025
Gregory “Greg” Ange, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 8, 2025, at 79.
Born in 1946 in Everett, Washington, to Joseph and Evelyn Ange, Greg grew up as the middle child of three, building a foundation of loyalty, kindness, and hard work that would define him throughout his life.
Greg proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he learned and practiced his trade as a machinist.
After his time in the Navy, through a series of life’s twists and turns, he made his way north to Alaska. Once there, he worked as a machinist for the Department of Defense at JBER for over 20 years. He was fortunate to retire early and spent his retirement enjoying life to the fullest. He and his wife, Mary traveled across the United States, visiting all the sights on their bucket list.
Greg loved spending time with his wife Mary, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When not traveling they were truly his greatest joy. He also enjoyed helping his son Steven with his race car during the summer months and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Greg loved fishing, camping, and the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Evelyn Ange, and his older brother, David.
Greg is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Steven (Samantha) Ange and Robert Carver; his daughters, Kimberlee (Cliff Fletcher) Carver and Archelle (Dwight) Esperas; his grandchildren, Adaline Ange, Michael (Justice) Carver, Jaycee (Nyheem) Gauntlett, and Brooklynn Carver; and his great-grandchildren, Lyla, Robert, Rowan, and Rhysand Carver, and Nyja Gauntlett. He also leaves behind his sister, Jolyn (David) Southwick, and several nieces and nephews.
At Greg’s request, there will be no formal funeral service. His family will honor his life with a celebration of love, laughter, and stories at a later date.
