What a wonderful day for a Car Show. Today we had our annual Alaska State Fair Car Show for 2026. The weather was beautiful not to hot and not to cool. Sun shining most of the day and a gentle breeze as the day wore on. We had 28 vehicles registered, one that showed up unregistered and 5 that either canceled or didn’t show up leaving us with a total of 24 vehicles showing. About an hour before we shut down at 6 the clouds rolled in and the weather report said rain was coming but we never got a drop during the show. It waited until we were all packed up and gone before it started to sprinkle. Today’s winner for People’s Choice was Kim Niessen with her 1968 Camaro RS.
