Beautiful, Beautiful day for a car show. Sunny in the upper 50’s to lower 60’s with a light breeze. We had our Klassic Kruz and Swap Meet today at Alaska Raceway Park. Had a great turn out of both vendor’s swapping parts, cars entered in the show and patrons who came to look at our beautiful vehicles. On the entry form I had 45 entries but I know there were more even though I made several announcements telling people to make sure they registered at the desk. I counted 40 vehicles and 18 swappers early in the show and more came after. I tried to get pictures of everyone that was there. We had around 20 people with tables set up swapping out parts. It was a very productive day. Our best Swap Meet yet.
Exquisite Urban Tastes was the food truck that served their tasty food. And we thank Alaska Raceway Park for letting us use the Drag Strip area for our show. They are both very supportive of the club.
3rd Place People’s Choice Trophy went to a 1940 Dodge Business Coupe. After a coin toss 2nd Place People’s Choice went to 1968 Camaro RS and 1st Place People’s Choice went to 1969 Chevy El Camino.
