We finally have an update to our Memorial Day Car Show event on May 27, 2024.  It will be held at the Anchorage VA Medical Center at 1201 N Muldoon Rd.  The event begins at 12 noon and ends at 4 pm.  If folks would like to register their car for the car show, we ask that they arrive at 10 am for parking and staging.  The registration ‘fee’ is 2 cans of non perishable food or 2 packages of non perishable items like diapers or tp.  There will be activities for children, food trucks, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place People’s Choice awards. The Honor Flight will be there and there will be an Honor Guard ceremony as well as a booth for the Armed Services YMCA for food donations.  The VA will also have a booth with information.  We are hoping for NO RAIN and expecting a good turnout and a good time.
