“FREEDOM FLAG RUN” 

Well, it’s that time of year again for our annual 9/11 “Freedom Flag Run” Memorial Car Show.  This year we will be having the Mechanized Motorcycle Association joining us for this show.   Our show will run as usual with everyone meeting up at Wasilla High School around 9:30 AM and decorating their cars with flags and other memorabilia. Then around 11 AM they will cruise over to Alaska Raceway Park taking a detour along the way off of Bogard Road down Hemmer to drive through the parking lots of both Tranquility Manor Assisted Living and Maple Springs. Then back on to Bogard to come out to the racetrack for the Car Show from noon to 4:00PM.

Last month Preacher, the man who first got the motorcycle community involved with our “Freedom Flag Run” passed away and this show the Mechanized Motorcycle Association will be memorializing him.
As with any of our bigger car shows pre-registration helps a lot in making the registration line move fast. Just email or DM me and let me know your name, make, model, and year. If you are not a 49th State Street Rodders club member don’t forget a contact number.

This show we will be having 4 Trophies. People’s Choice 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as People’s Choice Motorcycle.
Exquisite Urban Tastes and Alaska’s Best Gourmet Hot Dogs will be the food trucks serving their tasty food.
Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful for our last car show of 2023.    Hope to see you all there.
