What a glorious day. It is warm and sunny, and we are at the 2025 Alaska State Fair. How could it get any better. As I said what a glorious day. We want to thank the Alaska State Fair for working things out for us to be able to have our car show this year. There has been some new building and moving of buildings that put in question us being able to have a show this year, but the Alaska State Fair came through for us. I had 24 on my list and a couple canceled, it was a tight squeeze but we all fit in. KUDOS to our Club President Carl Blocker who manages the staging for our shows. He does a fantastic job! Even though we were a little out of the way and not front and center on a main path we had a large turnout of lookers and voters both people coming from the Barn and the Circus tent and those going to the food trucks just past us and those who saw our sign and turned in to see the beautiful vehicles. It was a long day, and we were there from opening to 6:00pm when we gave out the winning trophy. The winner of the day was “Pinke” a 1955 Nash Metropolitan.
