Sam Little has this pamphlet if anyone is interested in it. Post author:admin Post published:August 9, 2023 Post category:Events You Might Also Like Jane Ann Aldrich Obituary October 2, 2022 We had a Car show today at the “Forget Me Not” Community Fair out on Inner Springer Loop at the SDA Church and Amazing Grace Acadamy. There were not many of us there as this show clashed with the Colony Days Show I know, but we had committed to this show back in March before we found out that Colony Days was switching to Sunday, and they had already done advertising that the 49th State Street Rudders would be having a car show at their event so we didn’t feel it would be fair to cancel. Even though it was WINDY, and the sun came and went those of us who were there had a good time as usual, and we obtained 2 new members to the club. 3rd Place People’s Choice was a 1969 Chevy Nova, 2nd Place People’s Choice was a 1969 El Camino and 1st Place People’s Choice was a 1965 El Camino. It was a blue sweep since all three vehicles were blue. July 7, 2023 Had a really nice day today July 8th, 2023 at the Lowe’s Car Show in Wasilla. Great turn out. We had 48 registered vehicles and several that didn’t sign in. I think maybe close to 60 showed up. Our biggest car show so far this summer. I try really hard to get people to at least register. They don’t need to put a card in the window if they don’t want anyone to vote for them although they should because I always have people come to me wanting to vote for a specific car, but it has no number or tag on it for them to vote. I think for future shows when I say it cost nothing to show I will say but you must register. It also helps for next year’s shows when I am trying to figure out supplies, I need for a show as to how many are going to possibly show up. It helps with our sponsorship too to let O’Reilly know how many vehicles participate in our shows. The weather was really lovely. Overcast so not to warm but NO Wind thankfully. Alaska’s Best Gourmet Dogs was the food truck with their delicious dogs. Our three trophy winners were 3rd Place 1974 VW Thing, first time at our show, 2nd Place was a 1930 Ford Model A Coupe, a new club member and 1st Place was 1968 Camaro RS. Lowe’s gave the three trophy winners $50.00 Gift Cards. I think everyone had a great day. July 8, 2023
