The 49th State Street Rodders Hot Summer Nights Car Show Saturday 9,2025 what a great success. Four hours of fun and beautiful vehicles. The weather stayed clear even though there was no sun it was warm enough for just a T-shirt. Towards the end of the show it sprinkled a few drops once but the downpour waited until the show was over and all the vehicles were gone from the streets. We had 116 vehicles registered. The highest number registered since the pandemic. I know we had some that showed that didn’t register because we always have some of them. I want to thank those 55 people who pre-registered. Thank you so much for helping make the line move faster. You saw the ease of stepping up to the pre-registered table and picking up you vehicle information sheet while the others waited in line. Exquisite Urban Tastes with their expanded menu was there to help feed the people as well as Downtown Palmers many fine restaurants. I want to really thank the Eagle Hotel for taking me up to the balcony so I could take some of those long street photos and the video. Thank you so very much for your kindness. Here are our winners from last night’s show. 3rd Place People’s Choice was a 1969 El Camino “Sideways”, 2nd Place People’s Choice was a 1959 Chevy Biscayne, 1st Place People’s Choice Motorcycle was a 2016 Suzuki GSYR 600, and 1st Place People’s Choice Vehicle was a 1955 Nash Metropolitan “Pinkie”. Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who entered for making it such a great show. I took over 100 pictures but can’t get them all on here. The parking lot on the other side of the trees was full also.
